about your instructor

Suzy Daigle has always found American Sign Language to be an interesting subject - she taught herself the ASL alphabet as a child, but didn't have the resources to become fluent on her own.  At the age of 12 she began wearing hearing aids as a result of a mild-to-moderate hearing loss with unknown origins. It progressed over the years until just recently her hearing loss was noted to be severe-to-profound.  That, coupled with the realization that her 10-year-old son's own mild-to-moderate loss might progress in the same manner, spurred her new-found motivation and desire to get herself and her family as much exposure to and education in ASL and Deaf culture. She is currently diving head-first into teaching her family ASL and hopes to bring as much awareness, passion and excitement as possible to those around her for the beauty that is American Sign Language.

Come play and sign with me!

With just a few simple signs from American Sign Language, you can start communicating with your baby – even before she starts to talk! Signing is fun, easy to do, and good for your child’s development.

GROWN-UPS, TOO!

Adults who are interested in learning sign language can join in on the fun, too! Ask about individual instruction or group rates. There is something for everyone!
